Ministry: Russia’s budget surplus at 0.4% of GDP in Jan–April

MOSCOW, May 15 (PRIME) -- Russia’s federal budget surplus amounted to 0.4% of gross domestic product (GDP), or 122.881 billion rubles, in January–April, the Finance Ministry said on Friday.

The January–March estimate was raised to 113.381 billion rubles, or 0.5% of the GDP, from 12.408 billion rubles.

Budget revenue in the reported period amounted to 7.002 trillion rubles, of which oil and gas revenue was 2.222 trillion rubles and non-oil and gas one 4.779 trillion rubles.

Spending stood at 6.879 trillion rubles in the period.

The Federal Tax Service contributed 3.951 trillion rubles to the budget, the Federal Customs Service almost 1.5 trillion rubles, the rest of federal authorities 1.551 trillion rubles.
